QUART DE POIL has been at the cutting edge of environmental design since 1993. It has developed, in collaboration with architects, a creative policy through its Cardboard and Leather collections as well as the other collections using more conventional materials. Committed to this philosophy, QUART DE POIL' has continually put innovative, compact, foldable, personalisable and recyclable products on the market. Over time these collections have been enriched with numerous communications products with an integrated graphic design function. Thanks to this complementary creative tool, traditional and industrial know-how has been used for one-off projects and the personalisation of standard products. The armchair Tea For One, designed by Olivier Leblois is in the permanent collections of several museums: Victoria & Albert museum, London - Design museum, London - Guggenheim museum, New-York - Musée des Arts Décoratifs, Paris.
The vases Un peu, Beaucoup, Passionnément were rewarded the "Innovation" prize at the Cadeau & Entreprise exhibition, 2003.
The Deccan Chair won First Prize of Technology (technicity) at the Leather in Paris show, 2002.
The Minos chair was awarded the grand prix with distinction by the contemporary furniture critics, 1996.
The Children's Armchair "Quart de Mousse", was awarded Label V.I.A, 2000 during the "Salon du Meuble" in Paris by the "Observeur du Design", A.P.C.I. 2004.
