The "Cardboard" collection is famous worldwide, using the idea of turning a cheap material into a fine and noble product. This eco designed furniture is based on the refined Japanese tradition of Origami style folding providing incredible strength. The whole collection is made in France: The "Fauteuil Carton" (Cardboard Armchair), benchmark of the collection, is now in many museums. The fibres for the brown paper come mostly from sustainably managed forests. The compact or fluted, single and double layer corrugated cardboard are produced from paper composed of cellulosic fibres made from 85 % to 100 % recycled fibres, with water-based glues. These “mono-materials” are completely recyclable, biodegradable and compostable. Assembly of the furniture and objects by fitting the pre-folded cardboard without glue or tools makes them easy to re-use after dismantling. The double-fluted cardboard used is of high quality and technically resistant contributing to the durability of the product.
Customisation options depending on type of cardboard and quantity: with adhesives, digital printing, screen printing, hot stamping, flexography, and full colour offset printed paper.
